LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — About 1,000 Las Vegas Valley first responders marched down Fremont Street as part of a Sept. 11 remembrance event.
The event was organized by the Professional Firefighters of Nevada Benevolent Association.
The march included an honor guard and pipe and drum units. Community members joined to pay their respects.
The walk ended at the Plaza, where people gathered for an evening of tribute and remembrance.
The organization is welcoming donations for those who want to help first responders and their families.
