LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Fore Property has broken ground on Jewel, a planned mixed-use residential community in Las Vegas’ Chinatown district.
The project is located at 3588 S. Valley View Blvd. and represents a $143 million investment in the Las Vegas valley, according to Fore Property.
Jewel is planned for a 10.54-acre site and will include 380 apartment homes and 26,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. The development is designed to create a walkable, live-work-play environment.

Project timeline
The community will include studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences, along with resort-inspired amenities and retail offerings.
Construction is expected to be completed in March 2029. Leasing is anticipated to begin in July 2028.
Jonathan Fore, managing member of Fore Property, joined Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones, project partners, community leaders and invited guests for a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday.
“Today marks more than the start of construction—it represents our long-term commitment to creating thoughtfully designed communities that strengthen neighborhoods and evolve with the needs of their residents,” Fore said. “We are proud to invest in Las Vegas’s Chinatown and excited to bring Jewel to life as a transformative mixed-use destination where people can live, shop, connect, and gather for generations to come.”
Jones said the project will provide housing, create business opportunities and continue investment in the Chinatown area.
“Jewel is precisely the kind of careful development we would like to see in the Chinatown area, as it will provide much-needed housing, generate new business opportunities and ensure continued investment in one of our community’s most lively avenues,” Jones said.
