Registration requirements and public resources
LVMPD reminded registered sex offenders that they must verify their addresses with law enforcement based on their assigned tier:
- Tier 3 offenders must check in quarterly
- Tier 2 offenders must check in biannually
- Tier 1 offenders must check in annually
Police noted that the public can access Offender Watch, a website and mobile app displaying registered sex offender addresses in the area, which parents can use to identify residences to avoid.
