LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Three people were killed in a crash on US 95 Saturday.

Nevada State Police said the crash involved “several” motorcycles and an SUV. NSP said three people were confirmed dead, but it wasn’t known if all those killed were motorcyclists.

Additional details of what led to the crash weren’t immediately available.

Troopers have shut down US 95 in Esmeralda County between Mile Markers 18 and 44, as well as at the intersection of US 95 and State Route 266. An NSP spokesperson estimated the area would be closed for 3 to 5 hours for investigation. They advised avoiding the area and finding alternate routes.
