LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – LVMPD arrested 34-year-old Melvin Alexander for the death of the man found in a vacant apartment.
Officers responded to reports of a man shot and found in the 3000 block of South Nellis Boulevard on Aug. 15, 2024.
According to police, Alexander was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Aug. 27 for murder with a deadly weapon.
Alexander appeared in court this morning and is due back Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the identity and cause of death of the victim.
LVMPD Homicide department is leading the investigation as they continue to collect more information FOX5 will provide the latest.
