LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Las Vegas middle school had no water Monday as the City of North Las Vegas worked on an emergency repair.

FOX5 obtained a parent letter from Ed Von Tobel Middle School’s principal. The letter says the school had to shut off water because of a water main break over the weekend.

Leonardo Amador says CCSD’s Facilities Department was contacted to help resolve the matter.

Students were provided drinker water and facilities for hand washing, CCSD says.

The City of North Las Vegas told FOX5 that an emergency repair temporarily disrupted waster services near Carey Avenue and Pecos.

Officials expect the water to be restored around 6 p.m.
