LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Organizers of the Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival have canceled all activities scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11, citing a forecast for severe weather and wind gusts up to 55 mph.
The high winds could pose safety risks to temporary structures, outdoor installations, attendees, performers, vendors and staff, organizers said. Festival grounds, performances and vendor booths will remain closed Sunday.
“The safety and well-being of our participants, dedicated staff, and partners is always our highest priority,” said Patrick Almeido, director of Clark County Parks and Recreation.
Ticket holders will receive information about refunds, credits or exchanges by email within 48 hours. Organizers said updates will also be posted on the festival website and social media.
