LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police are investigating a crash on I-15 that killed a man early Sunday morning.
State troopers responded to the crash on I-15, north of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, around 1:14 a.m. An initial investigation determined that a pedestrian and a semi-truck were involved.
The pedestrian, identified as an adult male, was confirmed dead.
At the time of the crash, all northbound I-15 traffic was diverted onto northbound Las Vegas Boulevard to exit at Apex. As of Monday morning, all lanes are now open.
Troopers are expected to share more details after an investigation is completed.
