LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A northwest Las Vegas business owner is picking up the pieces after his restaurant was hit by a burglar over the weekend.
FOX5 spoke to the owners of Market Grille Cafe near Durango and Elkhorn.
The owners tell us this break-in took place around 6 a.m. Sunday and say they damaged their door and a camera system. They say detectives believe they had been hit by the same suspect wanted in dozens of burglaries across the valley.

“I found out from Metro that it’s the same guy that’s been hitting a lot of places and has been doing this now since July,” said Joe Pierro, Market Grille Cafe owner. “I heard it’s been over 32 places that he’s hit and it’s sad cause a majority of those places from what I’ve heard are mom and pop businesses.”
FOX5 reached out to Las Vegas police. They could not confirm a connection. The investigation into this burglary is ongoing.
