LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said a 91-year-old woman died days after a west valley crash.

Police said the crash happened Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10:12 a.m. at Desert Inn Road and Monessouri Street.

The 91-year-old woman drove a Honda Accord westbound on Desert Inn. At the same moment, Donna M., 68, drove a Ford Escape northbound on Montessouri Street.

Police said the Escape driver failed to obey a stop sign and crashed into the Honda. She stayed at the scene and did not report any injuries.

Medical arrived and transported the Honda driver to UMC Trauma. Trauma staff said she did not have life-threatening injuries.

However, police were notified on Friday that she died at a hospice facility.

“The driver’s death marks the 148th traffic-related fatality in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2024,” police said. “This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.”
