LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The UNLV men’s and women’s swimming teams will compete in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the Minnesota Invitational from Wednesday-Saturday, Dec. 4-7, at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center.
Fans can follow the action via the MeetMobile app as well as the live results link here. The meet will also be streamed on YouTube. Additionally, results will be posted on UNLVRebels.com after the meets.
Wednesday’s action will begin at 4 p.m. PT. Each day after, prelims will start at 8 a.m. PT, followed by the finals at 4 p.m. PT.
Also competing at the meet will be Minnesota’s No. 18 men’s and No. 23 women’s teams, Cal’s No. 5 men’s and No. 4 women’s squads, as well as Rutgers, Harvard and Denver.
LAST OUTING:
The Scarlet & Gray women’s team earned a road dual-meet victory against BYU. In total, the Rebels combined to win 15 events, with 10 of those coming from the women’s squad and five coming from the men’s group.
WAC LEADERS:
The Rebel men have multiple WAC-leading individual times this season, highlighted by senior Daniel Nicusan in the 100 breast (52.22) and senior Ian Belflower in the 200 fly (1:45.40). Additionally, Nicusan holds two other top-five conference times this season, ranking second in the 200 breast (1:56.38) and third in the 200 IM (1:46.94).
