LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit is getting dismantled throughout December.
Crews started cleanup when the race ended. F1 officials provided their latest update Friday on their cleanup schedule.
Officials say the majority of the dismantling will be done before Christmas.

LAS VEGAS BOULEVARD
- The dismantling of the Bellagio Fountain Club continues through December 27 with two southbound lane closures on Las Vegas Boulevard from Flamingo Road to Bellagio Drive. Entrance and egress of the Bellagio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino will remain open.
KOVAL LANE
- Sidewalk closures on Koval Lane at Flamingo Rd. continue through December 20 for the dismantling of the Flamingo Pedestrian Bridge.
- Nightly lane reductions on Koval Lane will take place from 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Sunday – Friday December 8 through December 13 for the removal of track barriers. One lane remains open in each direction during the closure.
- Nightly lane reductions on Koval Lane will take place from 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Sunday – Friday December 15 through December 20 for the removal of track lighting. One lane remains open in each direction during the closure.
- A temporary closure on Koval Lane at Rochelle Avenue from 9:00 p.m. on December 23 – to 6:00 a.m. on December 24 for the dismantling of the Rochelle Pedestrian Bridge.
HARMON AVE
- Nightly closure of Harmon Avenue at Audrie Street from 10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. through December 13 for dismantling the Audrie vehicular bridge. There will be no left turn movements all hours at the intersection of Harmon Avenue and Audrie Street. Flaggers will manage the traffic at the intersection.
- Nightly lane reductions on Harmon Avenue will occur from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. through December 13 to remove track lighting. One lane remains open in each direction during the closure.
- Temporary eastbound and westbound closure on Harmon Avenue from 9:00 p.m., December 23– 8:00 a.m., December 24, to remove the Top Golf Vehicular Bridge.
PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ENCLOSURE DISMANTLING
Overnight closures from Midnight to 9 a.m. on December 9 will be in place for pedestrians during the dismantling of various pedestrian bridge enclosures at the following locations:
- Las Vegas Boulevard: Bellagio to Horseshoe
- Harmon Boulevard: Harmon Shops to Harmon East
FLAMINGO CORRIDOR ACCESS DURING VEHICULAR BRIDGE DISMANTLING:
The Flamingo Road and Koval Lane intersection will be closed in all directions from 9 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, through 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, for dismantling the two-lane Flamingo Vehicular Bridge. Several reader boards will be in and around the intersection to help commuters navigate and access businesses.
There will be limited access to all local businesses and residences as follows:
The Westin Las Vegas: Access will be provided at the Westin’s westernmost entrance on Flamingo Road
Jay’s Market/Shell Gas Station: Access will be provided via Koval Lane
Caesars Entertainment Employee Parking Lot: Access will be provided via Flamingo Road
Meridian Condos Las Vegas: Access will be provided via Koval Lane
ARCO Gas Station: Access will be provided via Koval Lane
The Platinum Hotel: Access will be provided via flaggers one-way on westbound Flamingo Road
280 E. Flamingo Shopping Center: Access will be provided via Flamingo Road
Tuscany Suites & Casino: Access will be provided via Flamingo Road
Ellis Island: Access will be provided via Koval Lane
7-Eleven: Access will be provided via Koval Lane
Las Vegas Souvenirs and Gifts: Access will be provided via Koval Lane
