FERNLEY, Nev. (KOLO) – All schools in Fernley have gone into lockdown following a stabbing involving a 19-year-old.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened in the area of Farm District Road.
The LCSO says the teen stabbed their parents at around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday before fleeing the scene.
Farm District Road is now closed in both directions and police are actively searching for the suspect.
NHP and SWAT are assisting the LCSO.
