LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said two people are hospitalized for burn injuries after a stove fire.
Officials said the fire happened in the 1200 block of Alderton Lane. This is near the 215 beltway and Summerlin Parkway.
A stove fire started while two people were painting. They suffered burn injuries and dispatchers told them to leave the home.
The first unit arrived and saw visible flames. Firefighters entered the home and saved a dog from the house.
The fire started at 1:38 p.m. and was knocked down shortly before 2 p.m.
The two people were transported for their injuries. Southwest Gas also responded.
