LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The FAA ground stop at Harry Reid International Airport has been lifted, and Runways 1R and 1L have reopened after inspections following an aircraft incident Sunday morning, according to airport officials.

The runways had been closed after a general aviation aircraft skidded off Runway 1L upon departure around 11 a.m. and made contact with a perimeter fence. Officials said there were no injuries.

Prior to the stop being lifted, departure traffic destined for Harry Reid was experiencing delays averaging an hour and 10 minutes, according to the FAA. FlightAware reported about 330 flights experiencing delays.

“Travelers are encouraged to check with their airlines regarding flight status,” airport officials said.
