LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Police in Oklahoma arrested a 27-year-old for a deadly shooting in Las Vegas last month.

Las Vegas police said the shooting happened the afternoon of Dec. 23 near H Street and Owens Avenue at the Nucleus Plaza Shopping Mall.

Police say a man his 40s, later identified as Samuel Wiley, died of gunshot wounds. Another man in his 50s was hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

When LVMPD homicide detectives gave their initial briefing, they did not know what motivated the shooting. They also did not have a suspect description.

Tulsa police arrested 27-year-old Maalik Wilborn. He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail Monday and is pending extradition to Las Vegas for open murder with a deadly weapon.
