LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a homicide in the northwest valley Monday morning.
Around 2:45 a.m., LVMPD was contacted by the fire department to assist with a medical call in the 6800 block of North Durango Drive. Arriving officers located a person suffering from a gunshot wound, who later died at the scene.
Homicide detectives determined that this was an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public.
This is the second homicide LVMPD is investigating this morning, and the third in the last 24 hours.
