LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Henderson Thursday morning, police say.
The Henderson Police Department said the crash happened at Sunset Road and Marks Street at 10:33 a.m. It involved a motorcyclist and a vehicle.
Police said the motorcyclist died and there are no other reported injuries.
HPD said it’s not known yet if speed or impairment played a role in this crash.
The intersection of Sunset and Marks is shut down.
Eastbound traffic on Sunset Road is being diverted through the Sunset Station parking lot. Westbound traffic on Sunset Road is being diverted through the Home Depot.
Northbound traffic on Marks Street is being diverted through the Walmart parking lot. Southbound traffic on Marks Street is being diverted through the Best Buy parking lot.
“Please find an alternate route,” police said. “This is still an active and open investigation so no other details will be provided at this time.”
