LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 39-year-old man was arrested in Arizona Friday as the second suspect in a deadly 2023 stabbing.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, 39-year-old Samuel Conway was arrested in Holbrook, Arizona, and is currently pending extradition to Las Vegas.
Conway is linked to a stabbing that occurred on the night of June 30, 2023, near Churchill Avenue and Decatur Boulevard. The victim later died at the scene, police say.
An investigation found that the victim was arguing with the suspect before the stabbing. Police have identified 18-year-old Wyatt Conway as that suspect.
Wyatt Conway was taken into custody shortly after. Both Wyatt and Samuel Conway are facing open murder charges.
Wyatt Conway is due before a judge again on August 19th. A court date has not been set for Samuel Conway, who awaits extradition.
