LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The saltiest festival in the Las Vegas Valley is sailing into town.
Saturday and Sunday, Craig Ranch Park will be taken over by swashbucklers and scallywags.
“Everybody is dressed up to the top of their garb,” said Elizabeth Smith, Media Director of the event.
There will be several performers to see, including Gladius the Show, which features a mythological story of feuding tribes brought together by the spirit of horses. Pirates did need to dock on land every once in a while, after all.
“I’ve run aground in this dry desert,” a Captain Morgan impersonator told FOX5. “Look about! You’ll find all manner of dueling. You’ll find mermaids. You’ll find all manner of treasures. There will even be a treasure hunt.”
The festival is for people of all ages.
“If you want to bring your kids on down here to Craig Ranch in North Las Vegas, you’re going to find yourself having a good time for the entire family,” Captain Morgan proclaimed.
