LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Another major closure as part of the “Dropicana” project starts Wednesday.
NDOT says Tropicana Avenue will be closed in both directions between Polaris and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The on- and off-ramps between I-15 and Tropicana will also be closed.
The 20-hour closure runs from 9 a.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
Following this closure, Tropicana will reopen in full capacity with four lanes in each direction.
New ramps will open for the first time in three years. Starting Thursday, drivers will be able to use the Tropicana off-ramp from northbound I-15 and the Tropicana on-ramp to southbound I-15 once again.
