LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Next week the Southern Nevada Health District will test more than 600 students and staff from within the Clark County School District.
SNHD says all of them may have come into contact with a person infected with tuberculosis.
Testing will be offered from January 30 through February 1 at Ruthe Deskin Elementary School. The school’s already received a broad exposure notification.

- Darnell ES
- Deskin ES
- Goynes ES
- Guy ES
- Kahre ES
- Katz ES
- Leavitt ES
- Lied MS
- May
- Neal ES
- O’Roarke ES
- Saville MS
- Tobler ES
- Triggs ES
- Allen ES
- Conners ES
- Eisenberg ES
- Fong ES
- McMillan ES
- Priest ES
- Scherkenbach ES
- Tarr ES
Testing will involve either a skin or blood test. A valid ID is needed to be tested.
CCSD and health officials began an investigation last month after learning someone with an active case of tuberculosis visited 26 campuses. That person only learned of their illness after making the visits.
So far, SNHD reports no new active cases.
