LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Culinary Union announced tentative agreements with properties across the valley.
The union reached a tentative agreement with Resorts World for thousands of workers. The new deal covers nearly 2,000 hospitality workers employed at the casino and resort.
The new three-year contract expires the same time as the other casino properties unionized on the Strip.
The union also reached a three-year contract agreement with MGM Resorts International. Nearly 2,500 workers at The Cosmopolitan are covered. The contract includes health care benefits and wage increases.
Friday, Harry Reid International Airport also reached a tentative agreement with the union. It’s a five-year union contract for 1,100 HMS Host workers. There are about 400 workers left at the airport who still need a new contract.
