LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 34-year-old man is in custody after allegedly stabbing and killing his mom’s roommate in an east Las Vegas Valley apartment.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says it happened on Saturday around 5:40 p.m. in a neighborhood near Lake Mead Boulevard and Hollywood.
Police say the suspect visited his mom and her roommate and then left, but returned and stabbed the woman to death.
That suspect was arrested not far from the scene. He now faces an open murder charge.
