LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) – A Mexican national with three prior deportations and two felony convictions has once again been arrested for allegedly living in the U.S. illegally.

29-year-old Jaime Eduardo Gonzalez-Camacho is charged with one count of being a deported alien found living in the United States.

The DOJ says Camacho was previously deported and removed from the U.S. in November 2, 2017, Nov. 10, 2017, and again on June 9, 2020 before reentering the U.S. illegally.

In April 2023, ICE learned that Camacho had been arrested by officers with the LVMPD on three counts of drug trafficking, three counts of transporting a controlled substance with intent to sell, one count of possessing a controlled substance to sell, and one count of conspiracy to violate uniform controlled substance act.

Camacho was remanded to ICE custody on June 17 after serving a 26 to 72 month prison sentence.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of two years in prison, one year of parole and a fine of $250,000.
