LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas shelter is participating in a nationwide event to “Clear the Shelters.”
The Animal Foundation says throughout the entire month of August, adoption fees will be waived for adult cats and large adult dogs. Organizers say cats must be at least six months old and dogs must be at least six months old and weigh over 30 pounds.
To celebrate the eleventh year of the campaign, the shelter says all fees for any pet will be waived the weekend of Saturday, Aug. 30.
