LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – President Joe Biden was among three candidates making campaign stops in Las Vegas ahead of Tuesday’s President Preference Primary.
The President touched down at Harry Reid International Airport Sunday afternoon, and FOX5 was the only local news team there. From there it was on to the Pearson Community Center in the Historic Westside where Biden addressed supporters.
“We must make it clear that in America, just like all of you do in Nevada, we still believe in honesty, decency, dignity, respect,” the President told a cheering crowd.
He urged those on hand to encourage others to register to vote and to get involved in the campaign.
Democrat Marianne Williamson is challenging the President in the Primary. Williamson spent both Saturday and Sunday campaigning in the Valley.
Independent candidate Robert Kennedy held a rally at Area 15 in Downtown on Sunday. Kennedy’s name won’t appear on Tuesday’s PPP ballot. Before this weekend’s rally, he was around 2,000 petition signatures short of qualifying.

Former President Donald Trump held a campaign event last weekend at a Las Vegas ballpark. He’s the only candidate still competing in Thursday’s Republican caucus.
