Woman, 58, dies weeks after hit-and-run in central Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — An unidentified 58-year-old woman died weeks after a hit-and-run crash in central Las Vegas, police said.

The crash occurred July 27 at the intersection of Bonanza Road and City Parkway. The woman, who was in a wheelchair, was crossing Bonanza Road while a “don’t walk” sign was displayed, investigators said. She was struck and thrown to the ground.

The driver, who police said was in a 2013 to 2017 white Nissan Pathfinder, fled the scene without stopping, heading west on Bonanza Road and then north on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
