LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 14-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
On Wednesday, around 4:22 p.m. the driver hit the teen near Amigo and Abbeyfield Rose before fleeing the scene, LVMPD reported.
The teen was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
LVMPD traffic unit is investigating and following leads to locate the driver.
Metro wants to remind everyone school is back in session and drivers should follow the rules of the road especially in school zones.
