LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Organizers from Downtown Summerlin say a community parade is in the works to celebrate the Summerlin South Little League team’s World Series run.
Officials say Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys will be the parade’s emcee. According to a press release, the parade will celebrate the U.S. Champions starting Wednesday at 6 p.m. along Park Centre Drive.
Those who wish to attend are encouraged to arrive early.
The Summerlin South Little League Team members consist of:

- Brooks Fechser
- Dustin Greusel
- Cutter Ricafort
- Cache Malan
- Ethan Robertson
- Banks Mossler
- Griffin Vargas
- Mason Schutte
- Jayden Lee
- Grayson Miranda
- Garrett Gallegos
Organizers say the parade will include the Vegas Golden Knights mascot, Chance, and the cheer team. The Raiders, Athletics, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and valley sports teams are also expected to attend.
After the parade, the press release says the team, coaches, and family will go to the Las Vegas Ballpark to be honored during the Las Vegas Aviators game.
