LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — CVS says it is unable to offer COVID-19 vaccines in three states, including Nevada.

CVS Pharmacy says its locations in Nevada, Massachusetts and New Mexico are “currently unable to offer COVID-19 vaccines at pharmacies.” Officials say CVS is waiting to receive the updated 2025-26 COVID-19 vaccines in the coming days.

“We’ll administer FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccines in states where legally permitted at CVS Pharmacy and/or MinuteClinic to meet our patients’ needs,” CVS says.

FOX5 reached out for more information from the Southern Nevada Health District on the COVID-19 vaccines. Officials redirected us directly to CVS.

SNHD says they “remain committed” to providing COVID-19 vaccines to everyone eligible.

“COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and the best way to protect against severe illness, hospitalization and death,” SNHD said. “We strongly encourage those who are eligible to get and stay up to date with recommended vaccines.”
