The DMV asks residents to use online resources before making way to the office. Since 8 a.m. Wednesday, FOX5 has seen residents lining up at the Sahara location.

Healthcare

The Nevada Health Authority says it’s also continuing recovery efforts from the cyberattack. Officials say Medicaid services and payments are fully operational.

The Nevada Health Authority’s website is still down, but according to a media release, Medicaid district offices continue to provide essential operations for care coordination.

Officials say providers and recipients can contact [email protected] or call the Las Vegas District Office at (702) 668-4200, Reno District Office at (775) 687-1900, or the general statewide number at (866) 569-1746.

Police operations

Officials say the Nye County Sheriff’s Office is back up and operational, as some civil services were unavailable amid the cyberattack.

NCSO asks residents to be patient as the office catches up on work. Necessary appointments could be made here.

Nevada Highway Patrol said they are continuing to provide services amid recovery efforts. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has yet to provide an update on whether the cyberattack has impacted any operations, but did say some of their departments are experiencing delays since the network outage was announced.

What’s next?

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo is expected to speak again on the cyberattack on Thursday, but a time has yet to be confirmed.

Lombardo directed the community to their temporary recovery website, which he said is the best source for up-to-date information. He also said the 211 helpline has been expanded for assistance related to the cyberattack.
