LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Lines gathered outside the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles on Thursday as services continued to recover from a cyberattack that shut down state government agencies across Nevada for nearly two weeks.

Just before 8 a.m., DMV officials told the crowd of approximately 50 that identification and driver’s license systems were still down, although vehicle-related systems were available.

Nevada DMV officials announced Tuesday that the MyDMV service was back online, with all online services available except for driver’s license, identification card or address change transactions. On social media, the Nevada DMV urged people to use online services before heading out in person.

That warning, however, didn’t stop dozens of people from heading to the local DMV office near Sahara and Eastern avenues, hoping to complete whatever services they needed.

As services continue to ramp back up, Gov. Joe Lombardo has scheduled a press briefing to provide an update on the effort. The briefing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and will be available to watch live on FOX5Vegas.com.
