LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 30-year-old band teacher was arrested on charges for an inappropriate relationship with a student, Clark County School District Police say.
CCSD Police said Cole Horton was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. Officials say the arrest stems from an investigation at Basic Academy of International Studies during the 2024-25 school year.
CCSD says Horton has been with the district since Nov. 2019 and was last assigned to the high school. Officials say he’s been placed on paid leave.
