LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — In 2028, Las Vegas will become home of the Athletics.
Today, the A’s have submitted a new development agreement to add facilities for local police and firefighters to its ballpark.
The team will pay for those facilities and its equipment. That includes a post for the Clark County Fire Department in the parking garage. For metro police, there will be a post on the upper levels with clear views of the field, stands, and public areas.
Police will also have a booking room, holding cell, and interview room.
The Clark County Zoning Commission will hear the proposal at its next meeting set for Sept. 17.
