LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — After what officials are calling a political assassination Las Vegas Valley casinos are paying tribute to Charlie Kirk.
On Sept. 10, right wing activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a student-sponsored event with Turning Point USA at a University in Utah.
Las Vegas Valley casinos have displayed a photo of Kirk on their marquees to honor him following the tragic incident.
The Sunset Station marquee tonight read “In Loving Memory of Charlie Kirk.”
Palace Station also honored the conservative speaker.

Kirk was best known for his political organization, Turning Point USA.
Kirk appeared with Trump last fall in Vegas on the campaign trail including at UNLV.
Two people were taken into custody and questioned in connection to the shooting. They have both been released. Utah officials say neither have ties to the shooting.
The search for his killer is still ongoing.
