LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Questions are circulating about Emmitt’s Vegas, the popular steakhouse at Fashion Show Mall, and if it is still open.
A notice was posted on the front door of the restaurant, which said the landlord had notified the tenant of a default back in May.
The establishment is named after former NFL running back Emmitt Smith. The restaurant tells FOX5 it is still evaluating the best path forward. They say it’s a challenging time for the hospitality industry, and they are grateful for the thousands of customers and their team.
“We regret to confirm that Emmitt’s Vegas is currently closed as we carefully evaluate the best path forward for the restaurant. As you know, this is a challenging time for the Las Vegas hospitality industry. While we don’t have additional details to share just yet, we remain deeply grateful to our outstanding team and to the thousands of guests who have joined us since our opening,” said Emmitt’s Vegas management.
The restaurant opened in February of last year.
