LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person sustained serious injuries in a crash on westbound Blue Diamond Road at Grand Canyon Drive in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.
The collision has caused heavy traffic backup extending along Blue Diamond Road from Fort Apache Road, according to Metro police. Police said the crash happened just after 5:30 p.m.
Police are advising drivers to avoid the area or allow extra travel time if they need to drive through the affected zone.
The crash remains under investigation.
