Las Vegas police outstanding vehicle in deadly hit-and-run involving wheelchair user

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police are seeking help finding the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in east Las Vegas.

Metro police said a pedestrian in a motorized wheelchair was hit by a driver in a Toyota Tundra truck. The crash happened at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday in a neighborhood near Carey Avenue and Christy Lane.

Police said when the truck hit the pedestrian, it knocked him into the path of another vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police are looking for a dark-colored 2015 to 2018 model year Toyota Tundra with front-end damage.
