LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Mesquite police arrested three men connected to a home invasion shooting, officials report.

According to police, on Nov. 5, around 11:45 p.m., officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots near an apartment.

Officers who arrived on the scene said they heard additional gunshots from an apartment nearby.

Police report the front window of a home and a car in the area of Moss Drive were struck several times by gunshots. No one was injured, according to police. They say the car was reportedly targeted in the incident.

Officials say witnesses told police they saw two men dressed in dark clothes near the Summer Wind Apartments. Police responded to that location and found three people who matched the witness description.

The three suspects ran from police, according to officials. The officers ultimately arrested two juvenile men and one adult.

Investigators determined the three men were working together to commit a home invasion, which led to the shooting. They say they located a gun that was dropped somewhere along the foot pursuit.
