LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Animal Foundation is offering free vaccines and microchips at an upcoming event.
The Las Vegas shelter is hosting “Protect Your Pet Day.” Organizers say it’s a free community event to promote responsible pet ownership with free microchips and vaccines for dogs and cats.
The event is planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Animal Foundation, located at 655. N. Mojave Road.
Appointments are required. Those interested in attending can sign up here. Organizers say appointments are expected to fill up quickly. The limit is three pets per appointment.
The available vaccines include:
- Rabies (for pets 3 months and older)
- DA2PP (dogs)
- FVRCP (cats)
All dogs must be on leashes, and cats in carriers.
