LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County has opened new microchip scanning stations to help reconnect lost pets with their families.
The free scanning stations are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at three recreation centers. The county plans to add more stations in the future, bringing the total to 15.
Residents who find a lost pet can bring the animal to one of the stations to scan for a microchip. Instructions on how to find the chip are listed at all scanning stations.
