LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police conducted a DUI blitz Saturday night that resulted in 19 DUI arrests.
The operation involved officers from Enterprise and Spring Valley Area Commands, along with patrol officers, traffic officers, traffic safety officers, the air unit, Nevada State Police troopers, a phlebotomist and dispatchers.
Police conducted 206 total traffic stops during the blitz and issued 145 citations. Officers made one additional arrest unrelated to impaired driving.
The operation was focused on preventing impaired driving and protecting drivers on Las Vegas roads.
