LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County Fire crews responded to a gas leak near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Monday.
According to UNLV, CCFD is assisting UPD following reports of a gas leak on Maryland Parkway near University Road.
UNLV officials reported there was limited access to vehicles in lot D. Students and drivers in the area were asked to avoid starting cars.
According to UNLV, crews have located the source and are working to resolve the issue.
Officials temporarily restricted traffic in the area between Tropicana Avenue and Flamingo Road just after 1:30 p.m.
According to officials, roads have reopened around 2:30 p.m.
