LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person is dead following a shooting Tuesday afternoon, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 4:44 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 5700 block of Pavot Court, near Vegas Valley Drive and Nellis Boulevard. Arriving officers said they found one person dead at the scene.
Authorities said the area remains an active investigation scene. A homicide lieutenant is scheduled to provide additional details as the investigation proceeds.
