LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The neonatal intensive care unit at MountainView Hospital marked St. Patrick’s Day by dressing its youngest patients in festive green outfits and setting up holiday photo moments for families.
NICU care teams organized the celebration, outfitting the infants in themed costumes and arranging what the hospital called “little lucky charms” photo opportunities for families who are unable to leave the hospital to observe the holiday.
MountainView Hospital said the event was designed to bring comfort to families during what can be a difficult period, offering a lighthearted moment amid the stress of a NICU stay.

Staff said they hope the photos and festivities give families a lasting memory to carry with them after their babies are discharged.
