LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said they located a suspect accused of two homicides this February.

According to police, the first homicide happened in the 11000 block of Andorra Street on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 5:13 p.m. This is in the south valley near Bermuda Street and St. Rose Parkway. Arriving officers found an unresponsive female inside of a residence.

Medical arrived and said she died at the scene.

Another homicide happened early Sunday morning around 12:15 a.m. in the 7000 block of North Hualapai Way. This is in the northwest valley near the 215 beltway.

Arriving officers said they located a white male adult suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot. Medical arrived and transported him to UMC where he later died.

LVMPD detectives said they “quickly identified” the suspect as 36-year-old Mark Michael Ford.

“Detectives were able to determine the two victims knew each other,” police say.

Around 9:55 a.m., police said they located Ford and his vehicle, a black 2000 Lexus sedan with a Nevada license plate, 844X06. He was believed to still be in the Las Vegas area.
