(FOX5) — The A’s will mark their 125th anniversary with a special sleeve patch on both home and road jerseys throughout the 2026 season, starting Opening Day on March 27.

The A’s were founded in 1901 as one of the original American League franchises. The team played in Philadelphia, then Kansas City, then Oakland, and is now spending three seasons in West Sacramento before a planned move to Las Vegas in 2028.

The patch features the team’s white elephant and is designed to honor every city the A’s have called home.

Fans at the game in West Sacramento on Aug. 12 will receive a limited commemorative coin set. The set includes a coin for each city in the franchise’s past, plus its future in Las Vegas, and the 125th anniversary logo on the back.
