LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown will deliver her final State of the City address Thursday.

According to city leaders, starting at 12:45 p.m., Goynes-Brown will speak to a sold-out room at the Aliante Casino Hotel Spa, packed with community and business leaders.

In 2022, Goynes-Brown was elected mayor, becoming the first African-American mayor in Nevada history.

Goynes-Brown is expected to highlight North Las Vegas’ recent accomplishments, lay out new projects on the horizon, and reflect on her legacy as she enters her final year in office.
