MORE ON FOX5: Baseball returns to Las Vegas as Aviators take on Bees, Comets during first homestand

The Aviators are the Triple-A affiliate of the Athletics and the 2025 Pacific Coast League champions. They will be opening their 2026 season with a nine-game homestand starting on Friday, March 27.

They will begin with a three-game homestand against the Salt Lake Bees, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, followed by a day game at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday.

Las Vegas’ newest soon-to-be franchise, the Athletics will play the Toronto Blue Jays at 4:07 p.m. PT at the Rogers Centre.

Most of the Athletics’ talented young core came through Las Vegas Ballpark on their road to the major leagues. Reigning MLB Rookie of the Year Nick Kurtz only needed 20 games of seasoning in Las Vegas last season before exploding onto the scene with the A’s. Shortstop Jacob Wilson, who finished second in Rookie of the Year voting in 2025, also came through Las Vegas. Other young stars like Tyler Soderstrom, Shea Langeliers and Lawrence Butler seem to be with the franchise for the long term, which bucks the trend of the Athletics losing their best players before they’re due big contracts.
